Noja is an E-commerce platform with a focus on kids and teenagers. Users can easily buy clothes, shoes, and accessories for kids and teenagers through the web or mobile application.
Noja is an Iranian company based in Tehran, Iran. Noja is trying to help and support Iranian brands in its market with the aim of selling eco-friendly products and has been the 1st kids & teenage-focused company with this goal.
I joined as a Product and brand designer and did intense research on the side. I went through many different steps on the road, such as researching, comparing, ideating, and wireframing the solution. Right after that did the usability test in different ways and completed the journey by designing the logo, creating the design system and design guidelines, and designing the whole final visuals.

Approach & Process
Research
I started the process with deep research. The research part included 3 main steps as a methodology to cover the research our research goal: Finding users' needs and behavior in terms of kids' eCommerce and current solutions in the market.
Research methodologies:
Qualitative research
Quantitative research
Market research and benchmarking (Competitor analysis)
Qualitative research
Interviewed a few existing customers and some potential customers to gather enough insights from the users and find their needs, challenges, and pain points.
Interview questions samples (Existing customers/Potential customers)
How old is your kid?
How do you usually buy clothes, accessories, or presents for your kid/s? (Online/Offline)
Which shop do you normally do your shopping in?Which items are you buying the most? (Online/offline)
What are the challenges are you facing the most during clothes shopping? (Suggestion for improvements)
How do you find your favorite item?
Quantitative research
As we had many customers who were buying from our offline shop, we had many data regarding sales, categories, best sellers, and most ages/gender selling. Tried to gather and matched them with the user’s insights.

User Persona
Definition & Solution
The problem statements
1- Noja customers want to buy kids' clothes smoothly and have the option to filter a very long list of suggested items and narrow it down by filtering via colors, brands, size, and... .
2- As a customer of Noja, I would like to be able to track or return the orders after submission or receiving them.
3- Rating and reviewing the individual items or being able to read everyone's reviews can help every customer of Noja as they mentioned it could help them make the decisions easier.
Based on the Problem statements and the data, we came up with two hypotheses for problem statements 1 & 2.
A-Noja's customers are shopping for the kids without any filtering options, which makes it very difficult for them, and they have to scroll through a long list to find their favorite items.
B. In the available solutions in the market, once customers buy kids' clothes/accessories online, they can't track the orders easily without calling customer support.
By analyzing the findings (Qual+Quan+Market research), problems, and hypotheses, ended up with some critical ideas and solutions:
1. Having the categories on top of every page, and once users click on every category, we offer an advanced filtering option top for narrowing the list down.
2. Split up the main landing page into sections related to different categories and help the users by titles and images to find the targeted category from the first landing page.
3. Helping users trace the order once it's submitted and show the latest status of the order/shipment in a separate view.
